From the 6th of April 2020. medium to large private sector businesses will need to decide whether people that work through their company fall inside or outside IR35.
The reform will affect contractors who do not meet HMRC’s definition of self-employment. The changes are designed to stop contractors working as disguised employees, by taxing them at a similar rate to employment.
